5000 mah is truly astonishing. With screen brightness mode set to auto, and with 60% of battery charge, It was up for 7 to 8 hrs continuous screen-on + WiFi browsing & downloading + small games.

No heating issues at all.

Screen size of 5.5 with HD display, CG glass 4 is good, and the viewing angles are also good. If you were used to high ppi screens then you will be little disappointed. At this price range its really good.

Internal memory: Out of box, from 16 gb you get 10 gb available for user. However this will be reduced to 9.0 - 9.3 gb if you update ( nothing new just update ) your phone apps.

Out of 2 gb RAM you can easily get 1gb of RAM free all the time.

Processor Snap Dragon 410 is a bit of under performer, you will not notice this if you open 20 or more apps or any intensive games. But this processor is a more reliable one than others, and consumes less power. This is more than enough for regular user, and entertainment addicts and average gamers.

Phone speakers are decent, and loud enough to be heard in crowd.

Rear camera of ZenFone Max ZC550KL is good and quick, even in dark it takes good pictures. Front camera is decent but there are grains in low light atmosphere.

As with every Dark Souls game, rolling (that’s the B button) is the most important survival tool at your disposal. Each shield has a percentile resistance value for the different kinds of damage in the game (physical, magic, fire, lightning, and dark), and it’s particularly useful to equip a shield that has high physical defense. You can (and should) buy the large leather shield (85% physical resist) from the Shrine Handmaiden in the hub area, and you’ll also find the silver eagle kite shield (100% physical resist) in the game’s first major area. Shields are useful for blocking attacks that you can’t roll away from, and for dealing with surprise ambushes (which you’ll run into often).

Stamina is the most important stat in the game – more so than health, more so than focus (i.e. mana), more so than your damage or resistance skills. You need it attack, to block, to roll, and to do pretty much anything that involves you not becoming a human pin cushion. Managing that little green stamina bar should be at the top of your priority list of all times; when you’re fighting a tough enemy and there’s a break in the action, pull your finger off the shield button and let your stamina recharge. Run out, and staying alive gets much, much harder.

If you want to be a melee warrior, then Strength and Dexterity (this one’s especially useful for equipping bows) are your friends. Magic-oriented characters will want to pump Attunement for extra focus and spell slots; sorceries run on Intelligence, while miracles are powered by Faith (and you’d do well to pick one or the other). If you just can’t decide, pump points into Endurance (stamina) and Vigor (health), which you’ll get a ton of mileage out of no matter what you’re building toward.

You’ll begin finding titanite shards almost immediately, and these can be traded to the blacksmith in your hub area to upgrade your weapons. Don’t hoard these; spend them on upgrades early and often, even if you plan on switching to a different weapon later (believe us, you won’t run out of titanite sources). Weapon upgrades make a much more dramatic difference in your damage output than comparatively incremental stat upgrades, so don’t be shy about visiting the blacksmith. As far as the weapons themselves go, the general rule of thumb is that any weapon – even a basic thrusting blade like a longsword or broadsword – can capably carry you through the entire game if you continue to upgrade it regularly. Don’t worry too much about early-game weapons getting outclassed!

You’ve probably heard lots of things about Dark Souls. Most likely, you’ve heard that Souls games are incredibly challenging, and sometimes downright confusing.

The Souls franchise is all about delivering a serious challenge, and that means a lot of trial and error (and for “error” read: “dying”). So you need to be prepared for that. But you also need to keep in mind that in this game, dying doesn’t equal failure; you’ll learn something new each time you set out, and maybe even pick up some crucial new gear in the process. The important thing is to approach each encounter as a learning experience: Whether you survive or not, you’ll be making progress. You’ll die better next time… and eventually, you’ll stop dying in that place and start dying in a new place!

Here’s the thing about death in Dark Souls: It’s a setback, not a game-ender. For one thing, you keep all your gear, including anything you picked up since visiting your most recent bonfire (which serve as checkpoints and fast-travel hubs). And unlike in previous games, Dark Souls III doesn’t punish you for repeated deaths with a steadily dwindling health bar. So the only thing you really lose are any Souls you’ve collected – Souls being the main currency in the game. But even that’s not so bad; if you can make it back to where you died, you’ll find your lost Souls waiting patiently for your return! That said, understand that hoarding Souls isn’t a great idea, because if you die again before picking up those dropped Souls, they’re gone forever (and, in case we need to remind you, you’re going to die a lot). So you’ll want to make sure you’re spending your Souls whenever possible.

Now, if you’d like to not die so much, you need to realize that just about any enemy in the game deserves your full attention. There is no enemy in Dark Souls III that you can just blast your way through (at least, not until you’re a very high level and fighting very low-level enemies). So be prepared to focus on each new enemy, study its attack patterns, and learn its strengths and weaknesses. This is an absolute necessity for success, so understand that you’ll need to take it slow and smart every time you encounter a new baddie – every time.

One of the most delightful things about the Souls series is that it forces you to figure stuff out on your own – dramatically more stuff than in most other games. That means that you’re going to spend some time having absolutely no idea a) what is going on, and/or b) where to go next. Don’t be hard on yourself; this is by design! There’s always an answer, and there’s nothing quite like that “light bulb” feeling you get when you’ve finally sussed it out. This game will give you many opportunities to experience that feeling; it’s not a puzzle game, but it offers many of the same mental rewards. That said, if the idea still scares you, know that the game bakes in some features to help give you a nudge. They’re just handled a little differently than most games.

The multiplayer aspect of the Souls series is fascinating and unique. For one thing, you can leave messages for other players scrawled right on the environment, and of course read messages others have left. These can offer hints, directions, or sometimes just simple encouragement (but don’t believe everything you read; some players delight in causing misery by directing others to certain death). You’ll often also be able to see ghostly replays of other players’ deaths, which can help you avoid some hazards. Certain items can also let you enlist other players directly to help you out – or offer your own services to others. And if all else fails? The Internet is your friend. Yes, Souls games are so challenging and complex that they encourage players to share their tips with the world. Don’t be ashamed to take advantage of videos or strategy guides if you find yourself hitting a brick wall. Researchers who are working to develop wearable electronics have reached a milestone: They are able to embroider circuits into fabric with 0.1 mm precision—the perfect size to integrate electronic components such as sensors and computer memory devices into clothing.

With this advance, the Ohio State University researchers have taken the next step toward the design of functional textiles—clothes that gather, store, or transmit digital information. With further development, the technology could lead to shirts that act as antennas for your smart phone or tablet, workout clothes that monitor your fitness level, sports equipment that monitors athletes’ performance, a bandage that tells your doctor how well the tissue beneath it is healing—or even a flexible fabric cap that senses activity in the brain.

That last item is one that John Volakis, director of the ElectroScience Laboratory at Ohio State, and research scientist Asimina Kiourti are investigating. The idea is to make brain implants, which are under development to treat conditions from epilepsy to addiction, more comfortable by eliminating the need for external wiring on the patient’s body.

“A revolution is happening in the textile industry,” said Volakis, who is also the Roy & Lois Chope Chair Professor of Electrical Engineering at Ohio State. “We believe that functional textiles are an enabling technology for communications and sensing—and one day even medical applications like imaging and health monitoring.”

Recently, he and Kiourti refined their patented fabrication method to create prototype wearables at a fraction of the cost and in half the time as they could only two years ago. With new patents pending, they published the new results in the journal IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters.

In Volakis’ lab, the functional textiles, also called “e-textiles,” are created in part on a typical tabletop sewing machine—the kind that fabric artisans and hobbyists might have at home. Like other modern sewing machines, it embroiders thread into fabric automatically based on a pattern loaded via a computer file. The researchers substitute the thread with fine silver metal wires that, once embroidered, feel the same as traditional thread to the touch.

“We started with a technology that is very well known—machine embroidery—and we asked, how can we functionalize embroidered shapes? How do we make them transmit signals at useful frequencies, like for cell phones or health sensors?” Volakis said. “Now, for the first time, we’ve achieved the accuracy of printed metal circuit boards, so our new goal is to take advantage of the precision to incorporate receivers and other electronic components.”

Sharp Corporation will release RoBoHoN, a small and easily portable robot-shaped phone.

The phone was developed in collaboration with Tomotaka Takahashi, Project Associate Professor at the University of Tokyo's Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology and CEO of robot development company Robo Garage Co., Ltd. RoBoHoN is the world's first*1 mobile robotic phone. This humanoid robot can walk on two legs and is compact enough (approx. 19.5 cm tall) to be carried almost anywhere.

Supporting LTE and 3G networks, RoBoHoN has all the basic mobile phone functions, such as phone, e-mail, and camera, as well as a range of services accessed through dedicated apps, all of which are used by conversing with this humanoid. A newly developed built-in compact laser projector*2 with focus-free operation allows users to project photos, videos, and maps onto a screen or wall. Users can also download dedicated apps to give RoBoHoN new functions and services. What's more, RoBoHoN can grow to accommodate more natural communication with the user by learning the user's profile and usage situation.

In conjunction with the product launch, an official RoBoHoN website provides users with cloud services and information on connectivity, product warranty, and how to reserve and purchase RoBoHoN.
